what's so great about brown paper packages tied up with strings?

I'm doing it all wrong; Mrs. G told us to post our Favorite Things on Friday and to let her know. Well. I didn't do that but I still want to play, so here goes:

1. This guy (my first husband). Hi, love.

2. This kid, Miss Manners.

3. And this kid, the carnivore.

4. Nanaimo bars, heaven on a plate.

5. My 'boys, win or lose (of course the "favorite" part is easier with wins...).

6. Second husband option #1. Hello, darling, how was your day?

7. Fountains of Wayne, even though they hate me...(I am NOT a stalker).

8. Books, books, and more books
10. Broadway shows
11. Prada perfume (I wish you could smell this link)
12. My birthday
13. Shopping at Goodwill
14. And still this song, despite all the mean haters who mock me.

I had to blingo Nanaimo bars...never heard of them, but they do sound yummy!

I tried Prada recently...it does smell heavenly. I'm a spicy kind of person, not green or flowery so much.

Your kids are cute!

great list - I had fun putting mine together. Maybe I should focus on the positive more often...

I do not know what nanaimo bar is, but I will before the night is over. Could you send your second husband over with five?

Yeah...I'll be googling Nanaimo bars next...they do look yummy!
Second husband option...mmmmm..."hello lovah!!"
Fountains of Wayne must be popular here as there site can also be viewed in Japanese...hmmmmm.

My dad was a huge fan of the cowboys but he usually lost (he and friends would bet beer!) when he bet on them. After he pased away and we were cleaning out his stuff, we were surprised at the cases upon cases of beer we found in storage...my cousin said that daddy was just already prepared for the next football season!!!

I'm in a grouchy mood so my list would be more like "things I dislike."

Half the people driving in Illinois would be #1 on my grumpy list, I think...

Your hubby is cute! He is #1 (husband and #1 on your list!) for many reasons, I'm guessing ;)

dear mrs. wahlberg,

we know you're not a stalker. honestly, we know. we are just afraid that once we meet you, live and in person, we won't be able to resist your sex appeal and charm, and that we will not have the strength of will to go back on tour and leave you behind with your second husband.

so we are planning our farewell concert for vancouver. when we're ready to retire and never travel again, when that day comes that we can dedicate ourselves fully to your pleasure, when we finally succeed in knocking off your second husband, then, and only then, will we be there. for you.

with longing,

FoW

OMG I totally love Hey There Delilah and my kids think I am SO YESTERDAY for still loving it. When my daughter calls me, that's her ring. So you go on loving what you love. Awesome.
